Oh, hi! Welcome to all things me! I've been working in publishing for ages and ages. I was a children's book editor for nearly a decade, and began writing professionally in 2004. Since then I've written over 50 published works, including critically-acclaimed original fiction, novelty formats for younger readers, and bestselling commercial novels for middle graders and young adults. I received my MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and can often be found teaching workshops in writing for young readers. These days I'm usually writing creepy stories for older teens. Or writing funny stories for early readers. Or drinking too much coffee and spending too much time taking photos of my dog.
My latest releases are the final installment in the chapter book quartet Louise Trapeze, LOUISE TRAPEZE WILL NOT LOSE A TOOTH *(no way!), and the bestselling young adult novel MEAN GIRLS, based on the cult classic movie written by Tiny Fey. Order your copies now or listen to a sample of the audio book! (It's so fetch....)
I live and work in Brooklyn, NY, alongside my Emmy Award-winning husband, our two daughters, and a finicky French bulldog. It's pretty much the best.
