Oh, hi! Welcome to all things me! I've been working in publishing for ages and ages. I was a children's book editor for nearly a decade, and began writing professionally in 2004. Since then I've written (or ghostwritten) over 50 published works. I received my MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and can often be found teaching workshops in writing for young readers. Sometimes I write creepy stories for older teens. Sometimes I write funny stories for early readers. Sometimes I drink too much coffee and spend too much time taking photos of my dog.

My recent releases include the third title in the chapter book series Louise Trapeze, LOUISE TRAPEZE CAN SO SAVE THE DAY (*really!), and the paperback edition of the YA paranormal mystery THE DEVIL AND WINNIE FLYNN, hailed by Publishers Weekly as "terrifying and addictive." Both are available in bookstores now, hooray!

I live and work in Brooklyn, NY, alongside my Emmy Award-winning husband, our two daughters, and a finicky French bulldog. It's pretty much the best.
